Pre-marital cold feet makes Vicky, a beautiful Greek woman that lived in Australia for years, come up with a plan to switch sides with a friend of hers (Stella, an obese but kind-hearted and streetwise Greek woman), while on board the flight taking her to Athens to meet her future in-laws. So when the groom's family arrives at the airport to pick up Vicky, they are in for a big surprise. Stella presents herself as Vicky (one totally different than they had in mind), and Vicky assumes the identity of Stella, showing up at the doorstep of Grigoris (a man Stella met through the net) and his estranged roommate Lazaros. Add to these the fact that the groom will be coming in in a few weeks, and trouble is the only natural outcome. |
